Blessed Samhain! The Witches New Year begins!

My intention is to dedicate myself to daily magic for a year and a day.

Magic will include a wide range of infinite possibilities from touching into the vibes in meditation, creating a digital grimoire, learning more about my own ancestors and heritage, creative engagements (writing, art, photography…), gardening, peopling, research, healing, manifesting… Pretty much anything.

I’m unsure where exactly this blog and process will go – I’m ready to be a co-creator and I’m excited about what I will be and feel along the way. I won’t be the same I witch I am – that’s for sure – and I will meet some groovy fun witches along the path.

I want to dedicate this quest to the witchy vibes growing – growing in me, growing in my communities and globally. May we be the changes and do the work that support Mother Earth, Humanity, Critters and ourselves.

2:00 – My housemates and I are prepping for over 700 expected trick-or-treaters. Last year there were none as we were in the middle of the Covid pandemic and this holiday was shut down. This still feels surreal to consider. A global pandemic that has pretty much shut down the world for well over a year. Over 700 kiddos, most with parents, is going to be a lot! I’m vaccinated and so are my housemates and we will be getting our booster shots soon. But sheesh! Over 700! That’s a lot of peopling!

I’ve walked my neighbors dog up into the woody trail, through a young grove of redwoods and took a few photos. There’s always a magic along that trail. I feel Mother Earth, I breath deeply in the forest and can taste the sages and native plants on the air. I also receive “downloads” for writing and other projects. And then there is the joy of being with my canine companion.

8:50pm- whew! Over 500 kids! Wow! So many trick-or-treaters! Good friends together passing out treats… It’s been a Magical day! Blessed Be!
